Youtube Video Accelerator

Actually it is not only for youtube. It is for more than 100 sites. What it is?

It is called "Speedbit Video Accelerator". May be most of you all know. It is a good software to have it, if you haven't used it. Here I show you how it is look like. If you want to search for video clips on the internet, there is a search box provided for you in the software.

On the right side of the picture, there is a Welcome! message window and it shows that accelerator supports videos from more than 100 sites which is more than enough for you. :)
Ok you don't need to use this software window every time when you want to watch a video clip from online.

For example, when you try to watch a video from Youtube, the accelerator will accelerate the video you are about to watch itself. A small panel will rise up from system tray to show you that the video is start accelerating. Look at the picture, you will see it.

Normally, if you have a not very fast connection, you will have some buffering in every a few min while you are watching. For me, if what I am watching is a music video, having some buffering is a really bad thing. It ruins everything :D. I don't want to have any interrupt while I am listening music. I am quite kind of crazy guy u know :P. From the time, I have used this accelerator, I almost even forgot what does the buffering mean? :D Try it if you don't have ...

It is a free software and you can download it from this link "www.videoaccelerator.com"

Singapore Robotic Games (SRG) 2008

Last month, there was an interesting robotic competition at Singapore Science Center. As my team and I chose to do a project on underwater robot for our final year, we went to there and have a look at the competition. There are variety of robots competition such as RC sumo, autonomous sumo, underwater and etc. It is an very exciting games for robot builders and we got to see a lot of amazing technology concerning with the robots. Our school held Gold and silver in underwater robot. Next year competition, we will be there :D. Our FYP just started and we are trying to make a better one. May be one autonomous underwater robot (AUV). In competition there is only one AUV from NTU. All others around 25 robots are RC. The most exciting thing to watch in that competition is sumo robot :D :D. It is fighting between two robots. Fighting ground is a circle board on which two robots are trying to push each other out of the board. That is a great competition of robotics. Next year, if you live in Singapore and also if you are interested, just go and watch :D. There is a more detail article on SRG 2008 about what I was see there and what is my opinion on it. why do I blog ...

As I surf through the blogs from blogroll of some bloggers (sorry for too many blog in my words :D), I found different variety of blogs and I can see how do they blog in different ways. Most of them are personal blogs and putting a few others knowledge, information, helps and tips in it. Some blogger are capable of writing amazing funny posts. They decorate their blogs with funny pictures and funny posts, so whoever come across the page and read can laugh. There are some people with excellent writing skills, they know how to attract the people with their words. There is also a few blog which may be abandoned by owner or never write a new post for very long time (like me :D m lazy) ...
I am a blogger (I tell myself :D even though nobody told me), too. The main purpose of writing a blog for me is to share my knowledge, to express my feeling on my interest and there is one more reason. I want to improve my knowledge as well. I don't want to repeat this sentence again, I am quite lazy to do a lot of research even though I have a mind to do so. That's why I thought if I write a blog about what I am interested in, then I will be doing a research to write a good post. :D
Currently I just want to see a lot of post in my blog :D. I don't know when my blogs have contents enough to read through and obtain useful information from it....

Laptop Overheating

Overheating is very common in laptops when dust are blocking the way of air ventilation throughout the laptop. Like humans, laptops also need to breath in fresh air for having a clean and healthy internal hardwares. After the air that come into laptop absorbed the heat generated by fast speed operation hardwares like Processors, Memory, VGA, all hot air will be blow out by exhaust fan. This is a simple ventilation system inside of a laptop....

Life in Singapore

I am an international student, learning engineering at republic polytechnic in Singapore. So people from other country may like to know how is Singapore. Well it is a small island with amazing developed technology. It is the most developed country in south-east Asia. One country with one capital on one island. This is you all know. 70% of country's population is Chinese. Around 25% is Malay and the rest includes mainly Indian and others. Spoken language is Singlish which is actually a different form of English Language they use.
Here I want to talk a few point on Singlish. It is different from English in grammatically and also in accent. So if you learned American English or British English, you wouldn't understand in the first place. I don't know how real English people do. For me, I have to be familiar with it first. Singlish is similar to Manglish. Compare to English, Singlish seems to be more shorter then normal english sentence because Singlish users talk very fast in my view. In Singlish accent, mostly sounds of every words have a cut end and so many words have different accent with english.
For example : When Americans or British say "Very", the first sound "Ve" has a higher tone and decent to second tone "ry".
For Singlish : They pronoun in same pitch. First sound "Ve" and second sound "ry" have nearly match pitch.
Although Singapore government encourages the use of standard English, it is hard to change in a short time. Since everybody uses Singlish and it is quite hard to say let's change to English now. It depends on coming generations and how they will training their new generation.
In another view, Singlish is a native language of Singapore, and it is also a unique for them. Many people love Singlish rather than English. Singlish is nice to talk in a very funny way. In some situations, I think even using English will not even funny like Singlish. When you pretend to scold people with Singlish, you will have so much fun :D :D. Although it is not Standard English, it has its own strength for people who are using Singlish.
This is about Singlish I want to say here ..... and to be contined more about Singapore later one ... :)

About Me

You may want to know why Early Famous New (S.K.L) ;D ... My Name is Saw Kyaw Lwin ... and if it is translated to English, it is Early Famous New :D ... btw you can called me Yo! either ...
